Thursday, July 03, 2003 I finished Recent History. In many ways, it brought up similiar feelings as when I read Lake Effect last summer. Now, today, I got into Young Man from the Provinces. He, the author, writes about growing up in a violent alcoholic family (his father, who would beat him and his mother). He had a couple reoccuring nightmares.
